I currently have the white macbook but it is very slow when I try to play the sims 3. This is one of the only reasons I use my computer so I feel it is pointless, thus I have decided to upgrade to a new mac. Which Mac would be best for gaming? I am open to any and all ideas (note: I am only considering a mac so don;t just say get a PC). Also if it would be best for me to pay extra for certain features or upgrades please specify. Thanks!

It’s just, there are some applications I really like that doesn’t work with Tiger, and some of the new iLife updates are only for Leopard, so I can’t update, like for example, Photobooth and iPhoto. I also like to use EverNote which is a Leopard only app.Submited by:Peace

I have recently bought a used laptop that is old. The person I had bought it from had installed windows xp on it, even though it originally came with windows Me. I want to remove the windows xp because it runs slows on the laptop because it takes up more memory than the windows Me would. Also I want to remove windows xp because it is an illegal copy. So when I tried to run updates on it, windows would not install updates because the windows xp is not genuine.Submited by:bigro90

I can find an option for this in Windows really easily. It’s right next to all the rest of the volume options, but in Mac OS X, I cannot.

I need a Mac Book Pro by the end of August (a college requirement). A friend of mine was talking about how people could trade in old/broken iPods for credit for new ones at the apple store, and said it might be possible to do the same with Mac laptops.
I have a few older mac laptops, so I was wondering if this was possible?
