I realize they will eat most anything smaller than them, but has anyone been successful keeping newts, toads, fish, etc. with Tiger Salamanders (in adult or larval “waterdog” stages)?

Is there money in raising flaming tiger bearded dragons?

Cowgirl asked:

My friend succesfully raised a flaming tiger bearded dragon and was told that she was worth about 200$. She bought her for 40$. We had the idea that we could raise a few flaming tigers and sell them for a profit. Is this possible? If so, any tips or reccomendations? Also, when selling them, do the larger ones usually sell for more? Or the other way around? Thanks.

How much does a tiger salamander (or “waterdog” in the larval stage) typically cost in the US?

I have seen a few in a local pet store here in East Tennessee selling for $26. Some still have gills, others have morphed fully into adult Tiger Salamanders. Is this a reasonable price?
