I think i think its neat! Even tho most of ya say nah i think its a cool extra eye candy that might come in handy for some ppl. Of course not necesary but cool none the less.
I think I use a dock all the time, though I think the best is the Gnome Do “Docky”.
Docks are useless when you’ve got task bars that do the exact same thing but without the giant eye sore on your screen.
I think I agree with TheAzzo27 i think the Ubuntu look with Compiz-Fusion is sexy enough as is.
i tried Mac4Lin to make my ubuntu looks like Mac , it’s not bad! but actually i like the ubuntu look
I think some people like the dock, its ok, but its not my thing… its nice to know its there if i ever want to try using it or if i know a ex mac user who wants to switch to linux
