“Well the Iphone could do it if it wanted to” really? Are you really gonna play that card? What matters is what your device DOES do. The Iphone is a lack luster interface for dummies. Windows is a trade for compatibility and standardization. Those Nazi’s at apple are still forcing their hardware down your throat. The bottom line is that the Iphone has been set as some kind of status symbol. Commonly that status seems to be douche. I’ll stick with my touch pro 2, thanks anyways.

I think Because of its strong market share. A lot of people buy the iPhone, and that’s fine with me. But I’m not controlled by the market or what people buy, I’m controlled by my personal preferences and technological advancement. I’m not an iPhone hater even though it might look like it, I think it’s very innovative and nice to use. I just think that there are better alternatives out there, mostly concidering how much the iPhone actually cost and what you get for your money.

With flash support , iPhone stills gain 50 % share of all mobile browsing done by all phones ? Why ? Again WTF ?

One more thing , you know many popular websites like google yahoo , they know iPhone users use a lot web browsing , they know iPhone users can’t do flash , yahoo and google just make non-flash ad ! That means if u use say htc HD 2 you look at the same ad u will see flash ad while on phone this is not flash but is readable by iPhones ! Why taking cares of iPhone users ? Coz iPhone has half the share of mobile browsing in the world ! Over 50 % mobile browsing is done by iPhones !

You should not say CANT muti task , this is ” it may not do muti task ” apple doesn’t allow doesn’t mean iPhone can’t . You know iPhone next generation may use it muti cores CPU , u think such A2DP apple can’t do it ?

I think No, A2DP is a hardware issue and the phone can’t handle it. To ship a smartphone without flash is idiotic since many web applications and video websites needs it. The iPhone is the ONLY smartphone on the market that can’t multitask!!! (Again: WTF!). Wanna add more to the list? Okay. No wireless syncing and no 802.11n support. Plus, you have to jailbreak the phone to use it freely, which you don’t with any other smartphone on the market. What are you paying for?

Those functions can be easily activated by apple if it wishes . Flash support ? Flash is always ready , but apple doesn’t allow . As you said these WTF functions are missing from apple , what do u think the world will be if apple activates these ? If yes , I don’t know what other phone companies can compete!

I think Do I have to be Steve Ballmer to use and like WM6.5? The iPhone OS has it’s ups, for instance it’s touch engine is still better than the one in WM, which makes touch scrolling far smoother on the iPhone. But WM6.5 can do more. Both the iPhone and the iPhone OS itself don’t support standard functions like A2DP, it can’t multitask(wtf!), it has a crappy bluetooth transfer system, shitty camera, slow processor for it’s price, no media sharing, no flash support, no WAP support and so forth…

Wich sucks eaven more is that win mobile can be compared with any cammhore from tv because they used simillar or identic icons in their menu screen.

I think By far at this kind of menu’s Nokia wins.I-phone is just a good looking phone with limited compatibility with any other kind of platforms,applications that leads to the same problems like the MAC had: the necesity of an emulator or the necesity of a specific format program. Windows mobile will always be a loser because they just keep inspiring from other trade-marks,not bringing to much inovation to their OS.

This video shows a fake “plus” for the win mobile device because by me it is not useful to see a list of items/apps instead of a grid view wich in turn can let the user personalise his own menus.

I think The problem here is Apple is producing his own hardware and software by itself which means it is totally natural that they are working great in compatibility. But Microsoft should create something which is compatible with all the device manufacturers which is not easy and it can’t also say ” I do wanna create my own device” because he has contracts with companies like HTC and Samsung and stuff. They are depending on Microsoft when it comes to Advanced Mobile OS.

iPhone os is more advanced if not how can developers can make good games that make use of apple muti touch technology ! U think wm is better ? You must be Steve ballmer . Why ?coz of hardware ? No ! Many phones hardware is better than iPhone This is coz of its advanced os !

true, specifically I’m not sure what API’s and SDK’s each one support, but the new 3G s looks promising, with 600mhz risc and 500mhz coprocessor, as well as dedicated gfx chip. Also, since pretty much all these devices run on similar hardware, it’s not going to be a big problem writing software to support certain features like opengl, so you come back to dev support again for the actual apps.
BTW, where does one get some decent games for WM?

But again, that doesn’t mean that the iPhone is better for games, just that developers target that audience. But WM has a lot of good games, and also emulators to play games made for consoles on, and they all work just fine. I do think that a Samsung mobile running a 800mhz processor can perform more than an iPhone running on 600mhz. I know there are more elements to it, but technically I don’t see iPhone architectually superior to WM-phones, depending on which ones you compare.

I think it’s not just the hardware, and win mobile could support opengl es 2.0 and the like, but the real issue is developers to utilize the hardware — that’s probably the most relevant comparison right now, and iphone wins hands down not only for games development but also apps in general. (It’s pretty ironic if you think about it.)
Personally though, I wish there were a lot more developers for win mobile (and CE) as well as android.

But now you’re comparing a phone to an operating system? The iPhone operating system is in no way inferior to Windows Mobile when it comes to playing games. What matters when playing games on any hardware is the hardware itself, and since Windows Mobile isn’t a hardware like the iPhone is your comparison is pretty idiotic. Comparing the iPhone to other phones would make more sense.
