I think Actually that was the most sensible thing he could do. It could have given the tiger a shock. They are not used to things thrown at them. But it was too angry to feel shock evidently.
I think I’ve seen videos where tigers actually did jump up on the back of an elephant. With those it still didn’t seem much. But this one was a point of view angel and as you said, it just hit how high they can jump. and I think it prolly is the only video in the world of its kind.
