well the only sensible thing to say would be that tigers are bigger. Therefore they are probably more likely to win. I think ppl who say lions just generally prefer lions.

If they were playing Football the Lions would Win. But if they were playing Baseball the Tigers would win.
But if they were playing against anybody else they would both loose:
Detroit sucks.
Except the Pistons and the Red Wings, they kick ass.
