I recently recieved my upgrade copy of windows 7 from dell, and installed it on my vista machine. i was wondering if i could clean install it on a xp machine even though i already installed it on my vista machine.

I’m planning on using Windows 7 as the operating system for a computer that I have yet to build, so there won’t be any OS to upgrade from. As such, I’ll need to obtain a version of Windows 7 Professional that can do a clean install.Submited by:Jadebrain_viking
